Security

Security at Probity

Probity is built to watch your money, not touch it. Here’s how we access, protect, and handle your financial data.

01

Read-only data access

Probity only reads data from QuickBooks Online and your connected bank accounts. It does not create, edit, or delete records in your books, and it cannot initiate payments or move money.

02

Bank connections through Plaid

Bank accounts connect through Plaid’s secure connection flow. Probity receives transaction data, not your online banking credentials.

03

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest.

04

Infrastructure

Probity is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

05

Data retention and deletion

To ask how long your data is retained, or to request deletion of your data, contact us at support@pelicanfoundry.com.

06

Reporting a security issue

If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability in Probity or this website, email support@pelicanfoundry.com. We review every report.
